Constipation in Infants

It is normal for babies fed with breast milk to make a poop every 3-4 days, even once a week. Because breast milk is the ideal nutrient, it is almost completely absorbed by the intestines, which leads to a reduction in excretion. If breastfed baby poops once a week and the poop is soft, baby does not have constipation.

Infants should not be perceived as they have constipation when they are pushing and their faces become red.
